I recently came across this question on a forum: What is speed keto?

It made me feel like I’ve not been paying attention to the latest buzz in the keto community.
So I Googled it and guess what?
It turns out not many people are aware of it. At least, not yet.
So I’ve decided to share with you everything I found about speed keto.
Listen: If you’re only going to read one thing from this article, let it be the author’s information section.
What Is Speed Keto Diet?
Speed keto is a digital program created by Harlan Kilstein that aims to solve some of the crucial pain points of those who practice the ketogenic diet, especially newbies. E.g., a lot of people get frustrated about counting macros and calories. Speed keto claims to take that away and make it easier for you.
In a nutshell: The speed keto program gives you a handful of digital help books (think ebooks) with an aim to solve 3 common problems that many ketoers face. We’ll discuss them in detail in a bit.

Speed Keto Program Claims vs. Facts
Let’s go through a breakdown of how the speed keto program claims vs. regular keto facts.
As soon as you land on the speed keto website, you’ll see in big, bold letters that it aims to help solve 3 of your biggest keto problems
Claim 1: Keto is difficult because of counting macros.
Apparently, keto can get complicated quickly. It might be true if you’re someone who rushes into things without doing proper research and preparations.
Some people may find it overwhelming to count their calories and macros for each meal. However, not everyone on keto does this. Many people have successfully lost weight by just counting their daily carb intake and keeping an eye on the calories.
What you can do about it:
Claim 2: You’ll experience a weight-loss stall for weeks, months, or years.
This is not entirely true. Yes, a lot of people might experience weight loss stalls on keto, but it doesn’t happen for everyone. Also, it doesn’t take “years” to come out of it.
If you follow the right strategies, you might get back on track within a few days or weeks maximum.
What you can do about it:
Claim 3: People are clueless about what to eat on keto.
Newbies may have questions about what to and what not to eat on keto, but it’s not a problem that requires a paid solution.
A simple google search will let you know which foods are keto-friendly and which to avoid.
Keto is one of the rare diet types that has an alternative for almost each of your favorite foods, including ice creams and sweets.
What you can do about it:
How Does Speed Keto Work?
If you keep scrolling down, you’ll eventually see this:
The speed keto program claims to free you from the red ticks and give you more of the green ticks.
The problems with this:
Back to the question: how is speed keto claiming to deliver all those results?
This is how: By telling you to go on a restricted-calorie diet with extreme intermittent fasting protocols such as OMAD, we discussed in point 1.
The creator, Harlan Kilstein, mentioned on his site, and a few people who tried this program have also said the same.
The problem again: Unless you dive in with no research whatsoever, you will eventually find out about intermittent fasting, OMAD, and might even give it a try.
As stated in the beginning, fasting can speed up weight loss and other health benefits, so it’s a proven method that many keto dieters already practice without paying for a program.
4 Speed Keto Harlan Kilstein Facts
Harlan is the creator of the speed keto program. He says, “over 19000” people have tried it, and his inbox is “filled with hundreds of raving testimonials.”
So it only makes sense to start with him and what he’s all about, right?
Speed Keto Harlan Reviews
I came across a keto recipe book published by Mr. Harlan on Amazon. I noticed that almost all the people who bought this book were complaining about how it had stock images and plagiarized recipes.
This, along with the five facts discussed earlier, are the primary reasons that pushed me to write this article. I don’t have a problem with someone making a living using the keto diet, but some things just pushed it too far.
I also looked at the reviews for Harlan’s book about another subject, and that one also had terrible feedback about him.
Speed Keto Reviews
Harlan says 19 000+ people have had success with this program, but there are hardly any valid reviews online.
Many people on popular forums like Quora and Reddit have never heard of it.
A few who have tried it said it’s extreme intermittent fasting with a low-calorie diet like this one below.
Combine that with the reviews about the author on Amazon.
The sudden outpouring of facebook speed keto reviews doesn’t look genuine.
I also noticed on his website as well as his YouTube channel that a few speed keto users he interviewed are all older adults.
They seem to be the primary target audience, and if that’s the case, no problem as long as they’re benefiting from it.
